21st Annual Night Light Golf Tournament Sponsored by Child Abuse Prevention Services
Child Abuse Prevention Services of Tuscaloosa, Inc., announces its largest and longest running fundraiser, the 21st Annual Night Light Golf Tournament, is being held on Friday, August 22, 2012 at the Ol’ Colony Golf Course Complex. This exciting golf experience is a four-person scramble playing nine holes in the afternoon with a break for an evening meal, and returning to the golf course to play the same nine holes in the dark using glow-in-the-dark golf balls. Registration begins at 3:30 pm on the day of the tournament for available spaces with a shotgun start at 4:15 pm. Pre-registration is currently being welcomed; forms are available online at www.capstuscaloosa.org or can be picked up at the CAPS office Mon-Fri from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Entry fee: $500 per four-member team or $125 per golfer. A “silent auction” for four Disney Park Hopper Passes will be available during mealtime. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin, and the Grand Prize Golfer’s Vacation Package.
Child Abuse Prevention Services of Tuscaloosa, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency serving Tuscaloosa and surrounding counties dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through provisions of educational school-based and community-based programs for children and parents. These programs are provided to program participants thanks to the support of United Way of West Alabama, Children’s Trust Fund of Alabama, and local community partners. CAPS in the fulfillment of its mission of strengthening family relationships and reducing contributory risk factors for child abuse and neglect has provided educational programs for parents and children for over 35 years.
