BASH Reformer Pilates Tuscaloosa opened its doors in November 2023, and every moment since has been filled with energy and empowerment. The studio is a space where strong women unite to lift each other up, creating a community rooted in strength, support, and positivity. Pilates with its attention to proper form and detail, makes it a method of exercise like no other. BASH instructors go through an intensive training coordinated and led by our master trainer, Jenny Rob Hayes. The instructors are well trained in the BASH method and Stott Pilates to ensure they are able to deliver classes with modifications tailored to every fitness level.

Meet The Founder: BETH ALLEN
Beth Allen’s fitness journey began 15 years ago when she discovered how movement could build physical strength, confidence, and inner peace. Inspired by her personal transformation, she felt called to share it with others.

In 2011, Beth began teaching and developed THE BASH METHOD, a unique approach to fitness that combines strength training, circuit workouts, and Stott Pilates. BASH classes are known for their variety, incorporating different routines and equipment to keep workouts engaging and effective.
THE BASH METHOD is designed to meet women where they are, offering modifications and challenges for all fitness levels and life stages—from college students to post-menopausal women. BASH offers restorative fitness, helping clients transition from physical therapy to consistent movement.
With an energetic and encouraging style, BASH is more than a fitness studio—it's a motivating community that believes every woman deserves to feel strong, supported, and empowered. Beth’s passion for fitness matches her dedication to continued learning and deep commitment to the women she trains.
What exactly is Reformer Pilates?
Pilates is more than a workout—it’s a full-body practice that strengthens, aligns, and centers both body and mind. Rooted in core engagement—including the abs, obliques, back, and glutes—Pilates builds strength, flexibility, and improved posture through intentional, low-impact movement. Each exercise emphasizes control, precision, and proper form, making it safe and highly effective. This mindful approach enhances your performance in the studio and helps you move better, feel stronger, and carry that strength into your everyday life.

What equipment is used in BASH Pilates classes?
We proudly use Merrithew Stott Pilates Reformers, the industry leader for the most athletic Pilates workouts. Along with our reformers, we incorporate a variety of challenging equipment, including bands, balls, weighted rings and bars, ankle weights, and dumbbells. It’s a workout fit for a QUEEN!

How to Prep for Your First BASH Class
• We’re all about creating a welcoming space—come as you are and leave feeling even better.• Arrive 15 minutes early so we can help you set up and answer any questions.• Remember your sticky socks! If you don’t have a pair, no problem—we have them available to rent or buy at the studio.• No need to know everything on day one—your instructor will guide you. We’re here to support you every step of the way!

What different classes are there to choose from?
Sculpt, Core, Intro, Power, Cardio, Barre, 60 + , Intensive, and Mindful Movement are some of the BASH class formats. Private parties are available as well.
